One of A Kind

In our commitment to being as zero waste as possible, these pieces are one off or extremely limited small batch, made from studio offcuts and remnant fabrics.

"Fernweh"- (Noun)

A farsickness, an ache and longing for far off places, a craving for travel. A yearning to explore off the beaten path, into the unknown.

Rugged, handcrafted goods and accessories, inspired by a passion for adventure. Designed and made in our Aberdeen studio.

Sustainability & creating minimal waste is at the core of our brand. We all have a responsibility to look after this wonderful land, and at Fernweh we believe this is through making products that are built to last, minimising any waste and being ethical and as conscious as possible in our designs

We believe in doing things properly, creating well designed products from rugged, traditional fabrics and materials that will last a lifetime. Each and every Fernweh piece is designed and sewn with the utmost care and attention in our Aberdeen studio by our founder Laura. Buy less. Choose well. Make it last.

We are inspired by a passion for adventure and are lucky enough to have the Cairngorms and Scottish Highlands on our doorstep, a wealth of inspiration. However, we passionately believe adventure is for everyone, anywhere. Hike, climb, wander; adventure is all around us from the mountain peaks to urban cities. Go further. Stay curious.
