Re-wax your bag so it can last a lifetime of adventures.

This wax tin is produced by our main waxed canvas supplier, Halley Stevensons in Dundee, who are one of the industry leaders when it comes to waxed canvas production, they've been specialising in waxed cotton since 1864.

Waxed Canvas is an incredible fabric. One of its brilliant qualities is its water resistance, which is down to the wax coating that is embedded into the fibres during manufacture. This wax coating, is what over time and use,  created the unique marks and creases that waxed cotton is famed for, these markings are an inherent characteristic of the cloth.

It means every bag I make is truly unique, adding to the antique, vintage feel of the product. Each mark becomes a memory of the adventures the bag has been on, continuously adapting characteristics from the wearer, becoming a visual memory of your own adventures.

Although waxed canvas has this incredible properties, over time and use, this wax coating will fade, which is where re-waxing comes in. Re-waxing your bag is simple and restores the fabric to its water resistant condition.
